Great news today from the long running research for a HIV Vaccine. A study released today shows exciting promise to the vaccine being used in Thailand in collaboration with the US Army. It was given to 16,000 volunteers and it was proven to be 31% effective in preventing HIV infection. For it to be approved and used it has to be at least 50% effective.
